Beth Perkins is founder and owner of Sticks and Stones Landscape Design. A long-time Portland artisan, Beth is a design and garden space professional known for problem solving and innovation as well as for her practical, timely application of resources, materials and plant and tree installations.
Working with the homeowner’s concepts or developing ideas about the garden or yard space, Beth brings leisure and garden spaces to life. Customers say she is excellent at listening to the home-owner and at communicating goals, stages, and progress. Projects range from remaking front yards into no-lawn gardens to more complex construction projects such as patios, water features and ponds, walkways and retaining walls.
Beth creates installations and projects, which reflect her customers' interests and styles into the realities of the site. She is known for developing welcoming, natural, Northwest garden areas.
Working from formal plans she draws and reviews with each client, Beth suggests vendors or coordinates with irrigation contractors, electricians and concrete professionals. Beth is known for her designs of casual living spaces, low maintenance installations and sustainable-design with an emphasis water conservation.
